on golden pond

I did it. I went ahead and picked a color with some ridiculously cheesy name. After not being sure what color to paint the living room (considering my chair is yellow and sofa is blue) I followed the idea of my friend Trenice and painted the room a peanut butter color. The color's name? Golden Pond. Now, if it had been Golden Meadow, THAT would have been funny (if you're not from South Louisiana, that makes no sense to you).

So, we painted the living room yesterday evening, and one coat of primer on the window sills.





We also have baseboards in bedroom #2...
